The capacity of the MK Technologies A-frame lift is 2000 lbs; it can easily pick up formula/sports racers. Once placed on suitable stands, the A-frame can used to assist with engine changes, clutch services or any other maintenance jobs needing done. The best feature of the A-frame lift is how quickly it folds up without the use of tools. The folded-up lift has wheels and a handle to help roll it away for storage or transport.
The hoist used on the lift is a Warn DC1200, which is certified for use as an overhead lifting device, as opposed to common winches, which are not and are prone to backsliding. The Warn hoist has a positive action brake that locks the cable drum once power is removed.
The hoist operates on a 12v car battery and comes with a standard plug like the ones found on racecar jumper batteries. Battery is not included. |
